On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with two-time Olympic medal-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra and his wife Himani Mor.
Chopra, who recently married former tennis player Mor in a close-knit ceremony earlier this year, is presently enjoying some time away from the competition circuit.
"Met Neeraj Chopra and his wife, Himani Mor, at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, earlier today. We had a great interaction on various issues, including sports, of course!" P.M. Modi posted on 'X'.

At 27, Chopra experienced a season of highs and lows. He crossed the 90-metre mark at the Doha Diamond League, but ongoing fitness problems held him back later in the year, preventing him from defending his World Championship title in September and leaving him to finish eighth overall.
He also enjoyed success on home soil, hosting and winning a javelin event named after him in Bengaluru. Earlier in the season, the star athlete brought in a new coach — Czech great Jan Železný, a three-time Olympic champion and the world record holder with a massive 98.48m throw.
