Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi hoisted a sacred saffron flag atop the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya at a grand Dhwajarohan ceremony on Tuesday, 25th November, marking the formal completion of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple more than a year after its consecration.
At Ayodhya’s Ram Lalla Garbha Grah, PM Narendra Modi performed Darshan and Pooja, later raising a saffron flag on the Shikhar of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, a symbolic act marking the temple’s completion and heralding a new chapter of cultural pride and national unity.
In the sanctified ‘Abhijeet Muhurat,’ Prime Minister Modi guided the ceremony as priests invoked its auspiciousness. The grand saffron flag, measuring 22 by 11 feet and embroidered with golden images of the Sun, Om, and the Kovidar tree, was raised high upon a 42-foot pole atop the temple’s spire.
