Hina Khan on her journey: Yeh Rishta gave me more than Naagin — ‘All I own comes from those 8 years

Beloved for her on-screen journey, Hina Khan recently got candid about both her personal and professional life. In a podcast chat with Elvish Yadav, she reflected on her iconic stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, revealing it paid her more than Naagin, while also opening up about her life beyond the screen and much more.

Looking back on her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai journey, the actress fondly reminisced about those years, sharing that the show brought her far greater earnings than many of her other projects.

When Elvish asked Hina to pick between Rajan Shahi, the producer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Ektaa Kapoor, known for hits like Naagin and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Hina explained that her bond with Yeh Rishta runs deeper — she dedicated eight years to the show, while Naagin was just a brief six-to-seven-month stint.

Hina shared that her time on Naagin and as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay lasted only about six to seven months, but when it comes to earnings, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai was on another level. Having devoted eight years to the show, she revealed that most of her wealth stems from that journey. While she continued to take on other projects afterward, she emphasized that YRKKH played a defining role in shaping her career. Her words struck a chord with fans who still cherish her as Akshara Singhania.

On the professional front, Hina Khan first shot to fame with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. More recently, she appeared in Pati Patni Aur Panga alongside her husband Rocky Jaiswal.
