Arshad Warsi recently sat down for a podcast and didn’t hold back on the buzzing conversations around Bollywood. While touching on the controversy surrounding Akshaye Khanna and a producer’s remark, he also reminisced about working alongside two of the industry’s biggest stars—Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Warsi couldn’t help but admire Shah Rukh’s grace and professionalism, calling him the perfect gentleman on set. When it came to Salman, though, he painted a different picture—playfully dubbing him the “good-looking bad boy” everyone loves. And here’s the exciting part: Warsi is gearing up to share the screen with King Khan in the upcoming film King.

Arshad Warsi showers admiration on Shah Rukh Khan’s artistry.

In his chat with The Lallantop, Arshad Warsi couldn’t stop praising Shah Rukh Khan. He described SRK as someone who truly knows his craft, carrying that old-school theatre charm and memorizing every line with ease. Warsi highlighted how Shah Rukh’s politeness and generosity set him apart, saying he’s never once seen him lose his temper. “I’m very fond of him,” Warsi admitted, adding that even Shah Rukh’s children, Suhana and Aryan, reflect the same values—“they’re wonderful kids.”
When the offer for King came his way, Warsi said he agreed instantly, without a second thought. He recalled Shah Rukh’s own words about being “the last of the stars” and confessed he wholeheartedly believes it. Wrapping up his thoughts, Warsi called himself a big fan, admiring SRK’s dignity and the aura he carries both on and off screen.

What made Arshad Warsi describe Salman Khan as Bollywood’s “bad boy”?

In the interview, Arshad Warsi also opened up about his bond with Salman Khan, fondly describing him as Bollywood’s “bad boy.” He explained that Salman carries that classic, good-looking rebel charm, while Shah Rukh Khan, in contrast, comes across as a polished gentleman with a touch of sophistication. Warsi was quick to add that there’s nothing wrong with either—each has their own unique aura.
He went on to share that Salman’s public image is very different from the person he is at home. Behind the scenes, Salman is lighthearted, full of jokes, and genuinely funny. Warsi even noted that humor runs in the Khan family, saying they all have a playful spirit, as if they approach life with the simple goal of enjoying it.

Most recently, Warsi was seen on screen in Jolly LLB 3, where he starred alongside Akshay Kumar.
